Meet Verbal!

Verbal was rescued from one of our feeding stations in North Central Regina last week. He had clearly been on the streets for some time, and had a painful looking abcess on his neck. However, even living with sickness and hunger couldn't dull his amazing personality! Verbal quickly won the hearts of his two rescuers, Pat and Dona. He was neutered and received medical care at the vet, and is now in foster care. This sweet boy can't believe his luck. He is a big talker (along with being a VERY big cat), and loves to tell his foster mom all about his day. And so affectionate!!! It's inconceivable that Verbal could have been stuck on the streets forever without our help.
Once we are sure that he is well on the road to recovery, we'll list Verbal for adoption and he'll have a happy ever after kind of life.

Verbal is an absolutely unique, adorable cat less than 2yrs old. We fostered Verbal for a few weeks in late March and early April.
We have 6 cats but he just made himself at home but there was some duress for him in this multi-cat environment.
He was adopted by an extremely nice couple who have one male 3yr old (??) who they sought companion for. Horatio did not take kindly to Verbal's arrival in the first couple of days. Happily this did not last and they are the best of friends according to Verbal's adopters. Verbal continues to talk and "rules the roost" in his home. Verbal really deserved the love and care he has.
We have some great photos of Verbal in his short stay with us as foster parents if anyone is interested.
