Good Night, Sweet Romeo

PFA feral team volunteers said good-bye to another cat this week. Romeo, a long-term resident of one of our feeding stations was found very ill and in need of emergency medical treatment.

Unfortunately, upon examination it was determined that Romeo would need to be euthanized to spare him further suffering.

We like to think of Romeo, the large black fluffy cat, as he is pictured here, enjoying a sunny day on the warm steps with his fellow colony mates nearby.  We are glad he will no longer suffer, but our volunteers will  miss him greatly.

Rest in Peace, Romeo.
