Update - Zoey and her Kittens

In late January, we wrote about a beautiful young cat named Zoey who had just given birth to three kittens when their owner was evicted, leaving them homeless.

Thankfully, a PFA foster home came through and took in the little family. They were quickly christened the iCarly kittens, and Carly, Sammy, and Freddy have been thriving, along with their mama.

Here is an update from the foster home:

The iCarly Kittens: Carly, Sammy, & Freddy will be available for adoption for March 12th. At 7 weeks of age they are well on their way to being loving companions for anyone looking to add a little fur ball to their lives. Carly is the petite tabby with the black nose, female, she likes to follow her siblings and snuggle up for quiet time. Sammy is a female tabby with a pink nose. The girls like to be together and hang out. Freddy our black and white male kitten is the adventurous one. He has caught the eye of a friend and is no longer available for adoption. Sorry ladies that spunky little fella is spoken for!

This adorable litter was surrendered to PFA in January when its owners were evicted from their home and could not take them with them. Their heartfelt pleas were posted on a website that caught the eye of fellow PFA supporters that asked if PFA could do anything to help this family out in need. This came at the time when our family had just adopted our last foster kitten into a good home. We even asked if there were any young kittens available to foster. Little did we know there were litters being born this cold winter of January.

Zoey has been a fantastic mother to her three kittens. She gave us a scare when she became sick in the kittens 6th week, but she is doing well now and the kittens are growing. We have introduced the kittens to a number of different foods. They enjoy canned food and the raw diet most, but, have also been given kibble to eat as well.

*When adopting a kitten through People For Animals, it is a contractual agreement to have the kitten spayed/neutered at the approximate age of 6 months*.

If you would like to meet any of the kittens,
