These two best pals are Bud and Laurel, two cats rescued a year apart by feral team member and foster mom Dona.
Bud was rescued in August 2009 as an emaciated stray, and was quickly determined to be a senior cat (11-12 years old) suffering from hyperthyroidism. He would not have survived much longer on the street. Bud is one of the sweetest, friendliest cats we have ever known and he is much loved by all who know him. He has found his forever home with Dona.
Laurel is a young female rescued alone, pregnant and hungry on the north central feeding route in the summer. She is very sweet, soft and snuggly and fits in great with her cat companions. Laurel is currently listed for adoption, and we are hoping she gets her own loving home soon.
