Spaz One Year Later

Last year just before Christmas we rescued Spaz, a young, three-legged cat suffering from a terrible respiratory infection after spending considerable time living outside during the brutal winter cold we experienced much of last year. Despite his illness and lack of one leg, Spaz was a fun and spunky little character who loved to run around and play.

Spaz recovered with some TLC from his foster mom Sarah and soon landed in a loving adoptive home with PFA volunteer and then-board member Jody, where, as you can see, he is thriving and enjoying life with his cat buddies (he is the black cat with a tiny touch of white on his chest).

It couldn't have happened to a sweeter cat!

(p.s. Spaz's mama Rosie and and sibling Lolita, rescued from the same perilous life as strays in the downtown area, are very sweet black cats still waiting for their forever homes.)
